This extension adds improved support for free products in Easy Digital Downloads. Instead of sending users through the standard checkout process when downloading a free file, Free Downloads will display a modal window to the user asking them to enter their email address.

After entering their information, the user will be either redirected to the success page or a custom page of your choosing, or their file will be automatically downloaded, depending on your configuration.
